Accident Reports (On Roadway only):
Citizens and insurance companies can now purchase a copy of their accident report online. People who were involved in accidents on the roadway (not private property accidents such as parking lots or driveways) can access their reports at paypoliceticket.com or http://www.michigan.gov/msp. The date of the accident and police report number will be necessary.

Police Reports:
Requests for police reports will be made by completing a F.O.I.A. request form. Be advised that the F.O.I.A. statute allows five days to process requests, and it could take longer depending on what is requested. If you need reports for a court hearing, call the department to see if they are available. Remember to turn in your request early as our clerks may not be able to process your request right away, nor will they be required to stay late to accommodate your needs.
